This part-time Human Resources Manager role in Queensland offers the chance to oversee key HR functions and help maintain a capable, engaged and compliant workforce of more than 160 employees. Key Responsibilities

Lead recruitment and talent acquisition
Build workforce capability and succession plans
Craft practical HR strategies and implement them across the business
Provide leadership with advice on workforce requirements
Strengthen employee engagement and retention
Oversee performance management and employee relations matters
Conduct workplace investigations, manage grievances and coordinate disciplinary processes
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and awards, keeping HR policies, procedures and documentation up to date
Prepare workforce reporting and HR metrics
Contribute to remuneration review processes
Support injury management and return-to-work programs

Requirements & Eligibility

Proven experience as an HR Manager or senior HR professional, with a relevant tertiary qualification preferred
Sector experience in construction, mining, engineering, infrastructure or comparable operational environments
Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and a sound understanding of modern awards and workplace relations
Demonstrated expertise in employee relations and investigations
Strong track record in recruitment and workforce planning
Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage both senior leaders and operational employees
Hands-on familiarity with HRIS and payroll platforms
Ability to operate independently in a hands-on environment
Sponsorship or migration experience highly regarded; sponsorship available for eligible candidates
