HR Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Direct workforce planning together with talent acquisition, onboarding and employee engagement programs
- Advise on employee relations, workplace investigations and conflict resolution, and support managers with performance management and employee development
- Oversee employee sponsorship and the associated visa documentation
- Maintain compliance with workplace policies and Australian employment legislation
- Manage HR information systems and employee records, coordinate payroll and carry out HR administration
- Evaluate and strengthen HR policies, procedures and best practices, identifying improvements to HR processes and operational efficiency
- Promote return-to-work initiatives and employee wellbeing
- Develop relationships across all levels of the organisation and support leadership with organisational planning and change initiatives
- Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing culture
- Enable business growth through effective people management strategies
Requirements & Eligibility
- Previous experience in a Human Resources Manager or Senior HR Generalist role
- Comprehensive understanding of Modern Awards and of Australian employment laws
- Strong recruitment experience
- Strong experience in employee relations and performance management
- Excellent coaching, leadership and stakeholder management capability
- Effectiveness in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving strengths
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with HR management systems is advantageous
- Knowledge of Xero Payroll and Connecteam is desirable
- Prior work in hospitality, retail, manufacturing or other operational industries is highly regarded
- Hands-on management of employee sponsorships and visa processes is preferred
