You will be relied upon to keep operations structured, uphold quality and partner with hotel leadership to deliver consistent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive daily housekeeping operations and overall team performance
- Plan workloads, allocate duties by operational priority and review staffing requirements to coordinate resources as demands change
- Conduct team briefings, set clear service expectations and keep communication flowing between housekeeping staff and hotel management
- Verify room readiness against required standards ahead of guest arrival
- Collaborate with hotel leadership on maintaining and improving housekeeping quality
- Oversee housekeeping rosters, routine administration, billing and other operational processes
- Uphold accurate health, safety and compliance procedures
- Monitor housekeeping standards, resolve performance issues promptly and implement practical solutions to operational problems
- Ensure effective shift handovers and continuity of operations
- Foster a professional team culture focused on accountability, service and quality
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated experience managing hotel housekeeping operations, with proven ability to supervise, coordinate and motivate housekeeping teams
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Manager or senior housekeeping professional is highly regarded
- In-depth understanding of hotel room standards and guest expectations
- Capacity to demonstrate genuine hands-on experience relevant to the position
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills alongside a professional presentation and service-focused attitude
- Excellent organisation and time management and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy hotel environment
- A confident approach to resolving operational problems
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements combined with a strong commitment to compliance and professional standards
- Understanding of annualised budgets and operational costs
- Availability for weekends and public holidays when required
- No formal qualification is required
- Candidates must be able to substantiate their relevant professional experience
