A long-term opportunity has opened for a capable and energetic Hotel Manager at an established hotel in NSW, well suited to a professional who wants to build depth in hands-on property management.

The role calls for a practical leader who is comfortable stepping away from the desk. Your scope will span guest assistance, staff coordination, contractor management and maintenance issues, so the variety is considerable and no two days will look alike.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel and contribute to its ongoing performance
Deliver direct, personal assistance and support to guests
Coordinate employees, contractors and service providers, and manage communication with suppliers and external organisations
Respond promptly to operational issues and ensure tasks are completed efficiently to a high standard
Assist with minor maintenance and property matters
Diagnose problems and organise repairs where required
Maintain a safe, well-organised and welcoming property

Requirements & Eligibility

Proven management capability or previous management experience
Strong communication skills in English, together with strong leadership and coordination skills
Experience in the hospitality or accommodation industry is advantageous
A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to adapt to changing situations
Excellent problem-solving capability
Confidence in working independently and making decisions
Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills are highly regarded
An interest in developing a long-term career, with willingness to relocate within NSW
