Key Responsibilities
- Keep building knowledge of current techniques, products and trends
- Engage in training and education opportunities
- Provide professional haircutting services
- Deliver styling and broader hairdressing services to a professional standard
- Carry out colouring and other appropriate salon treatments
- Consult clients about their desired look and hair requirements
- Assess each client's needs and offer suitable professional recommendations
- Sustain high standards of technical workmanship
- Provide consistent, personalised customer service
- Adhere to professional salon procedures and service standards
- Collaborate effectively with the wider salon team
- Contribute to creative projects and photoshoots
- Assist with fashion-related activities
- Uphold professional presentation and salon standards
Requirements & Eligibility
- Professional hairdressing experience that you can demonstrate
- Certificate III in Hairdressing or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Practical background as a Hairdresser, Stylist and/or Colourist
- Capability to demonstrate genuine hands-on technical skills
- Knowledge of contemporary hairdressing and colouring techniques
- Well-developed client consultation and communication skills
- A professional, customer-focused approach
- Capacity to work efficiently in a busy salon environment
- A positive attitude and commitment to continued learning
- Ability to provide evidence supporting your qualifications
- Ability to provide evidence supporting your employment history
- Relevant experience must be verifiable through appropriate employment documentation
- Candidates who require sponsorship must satisfy the relevant sponsorship and visa eligibility requirements
