Specialists in advanced colouring, modern cutting, barbering, beauty therapy or a combination of these services can use proven experience as the foundation for the next stage of their career, an appealing prospect for professionals from India and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Provide men's and women's cutting, styling, blow-drying and hair-up services
Deliver high-standard hairdressing, barbering and beauty services aligned with your expertise
Conduct client consultations to understand preferences and recommend appropriate services
Complete professional colour work covering roots, global colour, foils, highlights and lowlights
Execute balayage, ombré, toning and colour correction
Apply keratin, nanoplasty, Hair Botox and other smoothing treatments when qualified
Undertake straightening, perming and further chemical treatments when qualified
Offer barbering and men's grooming as applicable
Provide threading, waxing, facials, other beauty treatments and eyebrow and eyelash services such as extensions and tinting where qualified
Advise clients on suitable professional products and home-care routines
Uphold strong hygiene, cleanliness and workplace health and safety standards
Create a welcoming, professional client experience that builds long-term relationships
Demonstrate high standards of personal presentation and professional conduct while collaborating with colleagues in a busy salon
Continuously update your technical knowledge and professional skills

Requirements & Eligibility

Relevant industry qualification and/or demonstrable professional salon experience, with evidence available when required
Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience (preferred)
Proven technical ability for the position applied for, supported by genuine hands-on industry experience
Practical expertise in modern hairdressing, barbering and/or beauty techniques
Strong communication and client consultation skills, complemented by excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
A professional, reliable and well-presented manner
Ability to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team
Strong commitment to quality, hygiene and professional standards
Passion for long-term career development in the hair and beauty industry
Current New Zealand work rights or eligibility for an appropriate work visa
