Key Responsibilities

Deliver regular mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, fertilising and general upkeep across lawns, gardens, pathways and shared outdoor spaces
Run ride-on mowers, line trimmers and other machinery in line with safe work practices
Survey outdoor areas to pinpoint routine maintenance needs
Present gardens and lawns to the expected standard
Keep equipment and work areas serviced and orderly
Liaise with internal teams and external contractors as required
Carry out assigned gardening and grounds duties dependably

Requirements & Eligibility

Proven practical background in gardening or grounds maintenance, with demonstrated capacity to complete routine tasks independently
Experience operating ride-on lawn mowers and line trimmers, and safe handling of gardening tools and machinery
Sound understanding of basic garden, lawn and plant upkeep
Strong attention to detail and dedication to consistent output
Reliable, responsible and professional work ethic
Good written and verbal communication skills, and effectiveness working both independently and within a team
Availability for casual weekday shifts
Willingness to complete required police vetting and other employment checks
Must meet applicable New Zealand employment and sponsorship requirements
