Key Responsibilities
- Lead team members to keep daily operations efficient, mentoring junior staff and apprentices through shared horticulture knowledge
- Deliver garden maintenance services of a high standard across residential and commercial properties
- Perform horticultural work including pruning, hedging, weeding, planting and plant health management
- Uphold a premium standard in every garden through attention to detail and proactive improvement
- Plan and complete assigned work within required timeframes
- Assess gardens for improvement opportunities and recommend suitable maintenance solutions
- Operate and service gardening equipment safely and effectively
- Collaborate closely with the team to achieve consistent service quality
- Act as a professional representative of the business and maintain positive client relationships
Requirements & Eligibility
- Ability to operate hand tools, machinery and industry equipment
- Demonstrated background in horticulture, garden maintenance or landscaping
- Relevant horticulture qualification or strong industry experience
- Capacity to manage garden maintenance tasks confidently and independently
- Experience as part of a team, supporting others in a leadership capacity
- Strong communication skills, a professional approach and a reliable, honest and committed attitude to work
- Excellent attention to detail with pride in workmanship
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Current manual driver's licence
