Key Responsibilities

Contribute to Form, Reo, Pour and associated civil construction activities
Deliver formwork carpentry in line with project specifications
Undertake concreting and concrete placement
Complete concrete finishing work
Position and fasten reinforcement and steel components
Handle hand tools and power tools safely
Operate construction equipment safely
Interpret drawings and act on directions from supervisors and site management
Ready work areas, materials and equipment before each task begins
Uphold quality standards across all allocated work
Follow site safety procedures to keep the work environment safe
Recognise potential hazards and raise issues without delay
Collaborate with other trades and construction crews
Deliver assigned work within project timeframes
Assist with further civil construction duties as the project requires

Requirements & Eligibility

Proven practical experience in the nominated construction trade
At least 3 years of relevant civil construction experience
Capacity to evidence previous employment and associated work responsibilities
Current White Card
Relevant trade qualifications or tickets where applicable
Dogman, Working at Heights, Telehandler, CN, C6 or HR tickets are advantageous
Sound knowledge of construction safety practices
Clear communication and the ability to follow site instructions
Capacity to work productively without supervision
Capacity to work productively as part of a team
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Dependable attendance and a reliable approach to responsibilities and project deadlines
Readiness to work on metropolitan, regional and interstate projects
