Selection centres on your verified trade background, practical capability and relevant industry experience rather than sponsorship alone. Working across both workshop and field environments, you will support customers and keep specialised equipment safe, reliable and operation-ready, while expanding your technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a technical resource for customers and for colleagues in internal teams
- Trace faults on Access/EWP units
- Carry the mechanical repair of Access/EWP units through to completion
- Look after cherry pickers, boom lifts, scissor lifts and associated machinery through servicing and upkeep
- Deliver planned services and preventative maintenance on schedule
- Travel out to client locations to examine and fix machines on site
- Handle repair and upkeep tasks back at the workshop
- Assess mechanical issues and advise on the most suitable repair approach
- Document each service, inspection and repair with precision
- Keep every machine compliant with operational and safety requirements
- Adapt efficiently to a variety of machine types and service settings
- Engage professionally with clients and co-workers
- Broaden your technical expertise across the full equipment fleet the company offers
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade qualification relevant to the role in Heavy Diesel, Mechanical Engineering, Machinery or an allied discipline
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on work diagnosing, repairing and maintaining machinery, including at least 2 years' direct exposure to Access/EWP equipment
- Demonstrable work on both diesel and petrol machinery, plus well-developed fault-finding and mechanical diagnostic capability
- Capacity to supply evidence of relevant qualifications and work history
- Full and valid driver's licence
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong communication and customer-facing capability
- Ability to work autonomously out in the field
- A firm commitment to professional standards and safety at work
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand or to qualify for an appropriate work visa, with sponsorship available to suitably qualified overseas candidates whose experience has been verified
