Key Responsibilities

Uphold farm hygiene and biosecurity standards
Deliver daily livestock feeding and care
Prepare and distribute rations in line with production schedules
Monitor animal health and welfare, escalating concerns promptly
Handle livestock safely during routine movements and inspections, and support processing and quality assurance activities
Clean facilities, equipment and work areas according to approved procedures
Operate farm vehicles and machinery as per training and licensing requirements
Undertake general property maintenance such as mowing and weed management, and inspect and maintain farm equipment for safe operation
Complete daily records and maintain effective communication with supervisors
Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production, safety and animal welfare objectives

Requirements & Eligibility

Prior experience in physically demanding industries such as warehousing, manufacturing, landscaping, construction, agriculture, livestock or farming is an advantage but not essential
Physical fitness for manual labour throughout the workday, and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
A positive attitude, a willingness to learn new skills, and strong communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to workplace safety and animal welfare standards
Reliability and availability for rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidays
A current driver's licence is desirable
Eligibility for Australian visa sponsorship
