Key Responsibilities

Interpret electrical plans, specifications and technical information to guide each job
Deliver electrical maintenance, servicing and repairs, testing systems to identify maintenance or repair requirements
Investigate electrical faults and complete effective diagnosis
Carry out electrical installations across varied work environments, including commercial installation work when required
Use electrical tools, testing equipment and machinery correctly, ensuring work is completed safely and to required standards
Keep the work environment clean, safe and organised
Complete assigned work efficiently with high workmanship standards
Balance independent work on individual tasks with cooperation alongside other team members
Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues and provide reliable service that supports positive customer experiences

Requirements & Eligibility

Relevant trade certification as a qualified electrician
Demonstrated practical experience in electrical maintenance
Strong working knowledge of electrical repairs and fault finding
Verifiable employment history and willingness to supply documentation that supports your qualifications and work experience
Commercial electrical experience is advantageous
Understanding of electrical safety, compliance and workplace procedures
Capacity to diagnose problems and work through technical issues independently
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
A reliable, professional and hardworking work ethic
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
Overseas candidates must satisfy applicable New Zealand employment and immigration requirements
