Qualified educators seeking long-term professional growth in Australia have a strong option here. A well-established early childhood education provider in Queensland is expanding its kindergarten teaching team and recruiting 5 passionate Early Childhood Teachers on a full-time basis.

Teachers will deliver government-approved kindergarten programs in a professional environment that prioritises children's development, collaboration between educators and career progression.

Visa sponsorship is offered to eligible overseas candidates, giving suitably qualified international Early Childhood Teachers a possible route to build their careers in Australia. Employment packages can be shaped around the successful applicant and may include flexible working arrangements, competitive remuneration and potential help with childcare. Teachers from India and other countries with the right qualifications are welcome to explore it.

Key Responsibilities

Designing, documenting and reviewing educational experiences for the kindergarten group
Leading kindergarten learning programs that are engaging and matched to each developmental stage
Tracking each child's progress via observations and learning records, with electronic programs, observations and portfolios kept current
Shaping a secure, inclusive and stimulating learning space
Nurturing every child's individual learning, development and wellbeing
Establishing positive and respectful rapport with children
Partnering professionally with parents and families, and reporting on children's development and learning outcomes
Working jointly with fellow educators and teaching professionals
Driving continuous improvement across the kindergarten program
Operating in line with the National Quality Standards and National Regulations
Upholding sound health, safety and wellbeing practices
Pursuing professional development and further training, and exchanging expertise with Early Childhood Teachers throughout the wider group
Helping sustain a positive, respectful and collaborative workplace

Requirements & Eligibility

Primary route: an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
OR an approved Diploma-level Early Childhood Education and Care qualification, alongside active progress towards an ACECQA-approved ECT qualification
OR active progress towards an approved ECT qualification that is at least 50% complete; academic transcripts are required for this 50% completed pathway
Overseas-qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, subject to meeting applicable ACECQA assessment requirements
Satisfying the relevant English language requirements and the eligibility criteria for the applicable Australian visa pathway
Eligibility to secure and maintain a Queensland Working with Children Blue Card, plus a successfully completed National Police Check
Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training, or obtaining these qualifications as required
Strong written and verbal communication, paired with genuine passion for early childhood education
Energy, enthusiasm and a strong professional work ethic, together with reliability, flexibility and readiness to contribute in a team environment
Capacity to form positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, informed by an understanding of children's learning and development
A commitment to growing a long-term career within the early childhood sector
