Key Responsibilities
- Implement the curriculum in accordance with EYLF V2.0 and/or MTOP, contributing to play-based programs and daily learning experiences
- Deliver responsive, engaging care that supports children's learning and wellbeing
- Establish trusting relationships with children, families and fellow educators, and communicate professionally with families and colleagues
- Recognise and respond to the individual interests, strengths and developmental needs of each child
- Observe, document and reflect on children's learning progress
- Foster children's confidence, independence, participation and belonging
- Create stimulating, inclusive and well-organised learning environments
- Collaborate with Room Leaders and the wider education team
- Uphold child safety, supervision, health and hygiene practices in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies and service procedures
- Engage in quality improvement and service development activities
- Contribute to a respectful, accountable, team-oriented workplace culture
Requirements & Eligibility
- Holding a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
- Relevant early childhood education experience
- Current Working with Children Check, along with current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management training and relevant child protection and national child safety training
- Working knowledge of EYLF V2.0 and/or MTOP
- Familiarity with the legislation and regulatory requirements governing Australian early childhood education
- Strong verbal and written communication
- A professional and responsible approach to children's safety and wellbeing
- Ability to develop positive relationships with children and families and contribute effectively to a collaborative team
- Commitment to upholding professional standards and continuous improvement
- Willingness to undertake all required employment, compliance and suitability checks
- Sponsorship available to suitable, eligible candidates subject to applicable requirements and successful completion of the probation period
