Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily food preparation to kitchen requirements after reviewing priorities with the team leader
- Organise and manage your allocated section, presenting food consistently to the required standards
- Support colleagues across the kitchen at peak times and maintain effective communication throughout service
- Keep your workstation organised and efficient
- Clean equipment and work areas throughout each shift
- Apply food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
- Help sustain a cooperative and professional kitchen culture
Requirements & Eligibility
- Prior experience gained in a commercial kitchen, café or hospitality environment
- Sound knowledge of food preparation and how a kitchen operates
- Capacity to stay efficient during fast-paced service
- Strong teamwork and communication capabilities
- A positive, dependable work ethic
- Openness to constructive feedback and a drive to improve
- Ability to work autonomously while supporting the wider team
- Commitment to food safety and a clean workplace
- Availability for early morning and daytime shifts
