A fast-growing hospitality group in New South Wales needs a Cook who can convert proven experience into consistent, high-quality results in a busy breakfast and brunch setting.

The position calls for someone who can take ownership during service, respects recipe consistency and works comfortably within established kitchen systems. Practical cooking ability, reliability and professional discipline in maintaining standards are central to success.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and complete preparation and mise en place in line with daily requirements
Produce breakfast and brunch dishes that match established recipes and specifications
Deliver a range of Australian breakfast and brunch classics to consistent standards
Own the cooking duties during service, working with minimal supervision
Uphold food quality and presentation
Ensure portion consistency across dishes
Operate efficiently alongside colleagues during busy service periods
Maintain clear communication with colleagues across each service
Work within established recipes, kitchen procedures and operating systems
Keep cleanliness, food safety and kitchen organisation at a high level
Use feedback constructively to make the improvements required
Contribute to weekend and public holiday operations when required

Requirements & Eligibility

Demonstrated experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen
Practical background preparing breakfast and brunch-style dishes, with a consistent approach to food preparation and quality standards
Capacity to work independently and confidently through service
Proven ability to work to recipes and established kitchen systems, and willingness to follow workplace procedures and accept constructive feedback
Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
A reliable, punctual and professional work ethic
Composure and organisation in a fast-paced environment
Availability for weekends and public holidays
Relevant work experience that can be supported with appropriate employment evidence; eligible candidates may be considered for visa sponsorship
