CNC Press Brake / Turret Operator

Key Responsibilities
- Operate Press Brake and/or Turret CNC equipment within a production environment
- Configure machinery and determine suitable operating parameters
- Interpret technical drawings, work orders and production instructions accurately
- Process sheet-metal components to the specified dimensions and tolerances through forming, bending and straightening
- Verify component quality and accuracy through inspection
- Fine-tune machine settings to sustain consistent output
- Track production performance with a view to minimising material waste
- Deliver assigned work within production and delivery schedules
- Identify and escalate equipment, material or quality concerns
- Adhere to manufacturing, quality and workplace safety procedures and keep machinery and work areas orderly
- Liaise with supervisors and production colleagues to support efficient day-to-day Press Shop operations
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated hands-on capability with Press Brake and/or Turret machinery
- Background in sheet-metal fabrication or manufacturing
- Practical CNC operating and/or setup experience
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and production specifications, supported by knowledge of sheet-metal forming and bending processes
- Proven commitment to accuracy and quality
- Capacity to work efficiently in a production-focused setting
- Strong safety awareness, a dependable work approach and good teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work night shifts from Monday to Friday
- Verifiable employment history and relevant experience
