Early childhood professionals who want to build a long-term career in Australia can consider this opening. A well-established early learning provider in Queensland is recruiting 12 passionate Childcare Workers for full-time roles.

The positions suit caring, motivated educators who enjoy designing positive learning experiences. You will join a professional early learning environment where educators collaborate to support children's development, nurture their interests and connect closely with families, all strong foundations for progression in the sector.

Visa sponsorship is offered to eligible overseas applicants, opening an Australian career path for qualified international childcare professionals, subject to relevant visa and employment requirements. Applicants from India and other countries are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering attentive care, guidance and supervision for children aged 0–6 years within a safe, nurturing and stimulating setting where they feel valued and supported
  • Fostering children's curiosity, confidence, independence and social development, while supporting their individual needs, interests and learning goals
  • Co-planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences and educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Observing progress and contributing to learning documentation, portfolios, electronic programming and developmental records
  • Developing genuine relationships with children and families, and communicating professionally with parents, guardians and colleagues
  • Partnering with fellow educators to provide consistent, high-quality care, and contributing ideas and activities that encourage learning and participation
  • Maintaining a positive and inclusive centre environment
  • Complying with workplace policies, child safety procedures, regulatory requirements, the National Quality Framework and the National Quality Standards
  • Participating in training, professional development and team activities

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, either held or currently in progress
  • Diploma-qualified candidates are also encouraged to apply
  • Genuine passion for the care and education of young children
  • Aspiration to establish a long-term career in the Australian early childhood sector
  • A warm, patient and positive approach with children
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal capability, including building trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • A reliable, responsible and professional work approach
  • Proven teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Enthusiasm, energy, a willingness to learn and a flexible, open-minded approach with children and educators
  • Understanding of the EYLF, NQF, National Regulations and National Quality Standards
  • Confidence with computers and electronic documentation systems
  • Current Queensland Blue Card or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to complete a National Police Check successfully
  • First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, or willingness to obtain the required certifications
  • Overseas candidates must satisfy applicable qualification and ACECQA assessment requirements
  • English language proficiency suitable for the relevant visa pathway, and ability to satisfy applicable Australian visa and sponsorship conditions
