Key Responsibilities

Service delivery: cook high-quality dishes to customer expectations and execute the menu during peak periods
Kitchen flow: manage prep tasks and work closely with the brigade to keep service efficient
Quality control: hold consistent standards for food quality, presentation and portioning
Stock and organisation: assist with stock control and ingredient preparation
Food safety: follow food safety procedures, maintain strong hygiene, and keep the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with workplace standards
Team culture: contribute to a positive, professional working environment
Continuous improvement: share knowledge and support ongoing improvement in the kitchen

Requirements & Eligibility

Proven experience working as a Chef within a commercial hospitality environment
Background in busy restaurants, hotels or comparable food service operations
Capability to sustain quality and consistency during high-volume service
Strong understanding of kitchen procedures
Strong command of food safety and hygiene practices
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
A positive attitude and strong commitment to customer satisfaction
Ability to work flexible shifts that include evenings, weekends and public holidays
Good organisational skills and close attention to detail
Relevant culinary training or industry experience preferred
