Experienced chefs seeking a full-time role in a demanding, busy environment will find a strong fit here. A busy kitchen team in Western Australia is recruiting a highly experienced Chef who is practical, hardworking and confident under the demands of a fast-paced commercial kitchen.

Your remit will include preparing and presenting a variety of quality dishes, contributing to menu changes, managing stock efficiently and supporting smooth kitchen operations. It is valuable experience for professionals planning long-term progression in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook and present a diverse range of dishes to a high standard, with consistent quality and presentation, in line with menu requirements
Work across fresh, frozen and prepared ingredients
Assist with implementing seasonal menu changes
Monitor and rotate stock, minimising food waste and getting the most from every ingredient
Uphold kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
Contribute to the efficient operation of the kitchen throughout service
Support the training and professional development of kitchen staff
Collaborate effectively with kitchen and wider hospitality colleagues

Requirements & Eligibility

Minimum five years of relevant commercial kitchen experience, together with Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Diploma in Hospitality or relevant equivalent qualification
Proven track record in a busy and fast-paced kitchen
Strong cooking and food preparation capability
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to remain calm and productive in busy service periods
Good communication skills
Availability for full-time work in hospitality
