Working within a skilled culinary team alongside an experienced Executive Chef, you will apply your existing knowledge, gain exposure across kitchen sections and continue your professional development.
A 4-days-on, 3-days-off roster provides a predictable working pattern and supports a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Rotate confidently across different kitchen sections
- Prepare and cook dishes in line with established kitchen standards
- Ensure consistent food quality, flavour and presentation
- Uphold high presentation standards in an open-kitchen environment
- Support preparation and service during peak trading periods
- Keep preparation and service routines accurate
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen colleagues and communicate clearly with chefs and team members
- Prioritise and manage competing kitchen tasks efficiently
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
- Maintain clean, organised preparation areas and workstations
- Foster an efficient, respectful and professional kitchen culture
Requirements & Eligibility
- 2–3 years of professional kitchen experience across restaurants, pubs or hotels, including genuine hands-on work in multiple kitchen sections
- Ability to demonstrate practical culinary skills and relevant work experience
- Strong understanding of professional kitchen operations and the ability to maintain standards during busy service periods
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A reliable, punctual work ethic
- Strong attention to detail, professional presentation and high personal hygiene standards
- Capacity to multitask and perform effectively under pressure
- Availability for late-night shifts
- Eagerness to learn, a positive outlook and a strong commitment to quality and continuous professional development
