Key Responsibilities

Complete ingredient preparation and daily mise en place, then cook menu items to established recipes and standards
Sustain food quality and presentation across the whole service
Handle multiple cooking tasks efficiently in a high-volume kitchen at peak periods
Oversee correct food storage, stock rotation and ingredient usage to minimise unnecessary wastage
Uphold kitchen cleanliness alongside food safety and hygiene procedures
Liaise with kitchen colleagues and service staff
Contribute to an organised, productive kitchen
Adjust professionally to changing service requirements

Requirements & Eligibility

A relevant background as a Cook or Chef
Proven experience in commercial kitchens; a high-volume background is strongly preferred
Capacity to stay efficient when services get busy, paired with a sharp eye for detail and consistency
An upbeat attitude and a work ethic employers can rely on
Sound communication and collaboration within a team
A professional standard in both food preparation and customer service
Capacity to satisfy workplace and food safety requirements
Living in Perth, Western Australia right now is essential; visa holders who already reside in Perth are welcome
Work history that is authentic and can be verified
Dedication to seeing the required qualifying period through; sponsorship is available for eligible high-performing candidates
