For a chef building toward a senior kitchen role, this full-time Chef de Partie position near Wollongong, NSW offers a clear progression story. The employer is a wedding and events venue in a group of five wedding venues, and its catering team needs someone to start immediately.
Day to day, you would run a section on European event menus where services are large and fast, contribute to menu development with the Head Chef and develop junior chefs. The group wants a long-term hire, and its multi-venue structure creates a pathway to Sous Chef.

Key Responsibilities
- Section ownership across prep and live service for weddings and events
- Menu development, tastings and seasonal changes in partnership with the Head Chef
- Food safety compliance, ordering and stock control
- Training and leading junior chefs and kitchen hands, and delivering catering at other venues
Requirements & Eligibility
- 3 years' culinary experience
- A background as a CDP or strong Demi within that experience
- Demonstrated plating for large numbers with quality held
- Food safety certification, or the capacity to obtain it within 30 days of commencing
- A Drivers License, which is required
