Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior chefs to drive smooth, efficient kitchen operations
- Own food preparation and service across an allocated kitchen section, delivering every dish to set standards of quality, presentation and portion control
- Mentor and support junior kitchen team members through daily operations
- Contribute creative input on menus and specials built around seasonal, locally available produce
- Uphold cleanliness, food handling and hygiene standards in line with food safety procedures and workplace requirements
- Manage ingredient and stock usage, communicating replenishment needs early
- Help the kitchen prepare for busy periods, functions and special events
- Take an active part in team discussions on improving kitchen operations
- Bring a professional, cooperative and positive mindset to a demanding hospitality environment
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated experience as a Chef de Partie or in a comparable professional kitchen position
- Track record in a busy or high-volume hospitality environment
- Recognised culinary qualification or an equivalent professional training background
- Strong practical skills in cooking and food preparation
- Sound grasp of food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance standards
- Capacity to sustain quality and consistency through busy service periods
- Strong communication skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- Capability to supervise or support junior members of the kitchen team
- Effective organisation and time-management skills
- A creative approach to food preparation and a genuine commitment to quality
