Key Responsibilities

Interpret construction plans and measurements accurately
Measure, cut and install materials precisely
Execute framing, structural timber and installation work
Produce residential carpentry to a high professional standard
Undertake carpentry for renovation and new-build projects
Deliver detailed finishing and fit-out work
Accept responsibility for assigned tasks and site activities
Balance efficiency with quality and accuracy
Liaise with supervisors, builders and other trades, and resolve routine carpentry issues on-site
Keep tools and equipment well maintained
Comply with workplace health and safety procedures
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area

Requirements & Eligibility

Ability to provide supporting evidence of employment or qualifications
Demonstrated professional experience as a Carpenter, with a relevant trade qualification or equivalent practical experience
Verifiable, genuine residential carpentry experience and a clear employment history showing relevant trade experience
Current White Card
Valid driver's licence
Own reliable transport and own standard carpentry tools
In-depth practical knowledge of residential construction
Capability to read plans and follow technical instructions
Consistent attention to quality and detail
Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable attendance and professional work habits, supported by good communication and teamwork skills
