Key Responsibilities

Read plans and drawings, interpret specifications and confirm site dimensions through accurate measurement
Prepare and assemble cabinets for installation
Install residential kitchens, cabinets and cabinetry components
Fit hardware, kickboards, fillers, panels and cabinet doors
Adapt cabinetry to suit the conditions found on site
Carry out on-site installation alterations and finishing
Use laminate, melamine and other cabinetry materials
Ensure every installation is correctly levelled, aligned and secure, resolving any installation challenges practically
Uphold high workmanship standards with strong attention to detail
Complete projects to the required specifications in an efficient manner
Collaborate with colleagues and other trades
Maintain professional communication at customer properties
Keep the workplace clean, organised and safe in line with applicable health and safety procedures

Requirements & Eligibility

Minimum 5 years' experience in cabinet-making, joinery or kitchen installation
Relevant trade qualification preferred (cabinet making, joinery or a related discipline)
Track record of residential kitchen and cabinetry installation
In-depth practical knowledge of cabinet construction and installation
Precise interpretation of plans, drawings and measurements
Commitment to quality control and attention to detail
Confidence with on-site modifications and problem solving
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Capacity to work independently and manage assigned tasks
A professional, reliable and safety-focused work ethic
Australian driver's licence, or the ability to obtain one
Reliable transport
Employment history and relevant trade experience that can be verified with evidence
Previous Australian industry experience will be highly regarded
Must currently be residing in Australia
