Branch Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall branch leadership, setting clear performance expectations and business objectives
  • Lead and develop managers, supervisors and operational teams, coaching employees and nurturing future leadership talent
  • Foster an engaged, high-performing culture that strengthens retention
  • Act as a champion for health, safety and wellbeing initiatives
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders while supporting business development and sales initiatives
  • Drive service excellence and operational efficiency
  • Oversee service, parts, sales and engineering functions
  • Take ownership of branch budgets and commercial performance
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and resolve operational and customer issues
  • Contribute to strategic planning at senior leadership level
  • Promote organisational values and professional standards

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Significant experience leading in a branch or operations environment
  • Has managed diverse teams spanning multiple business functions
  • Senior management experience in a previous role strongly preferred
  • Industry background spanning heavy transport, equipment, automotive or industrial sectors
  • Strong customer service and relationship management track record
  • Proven ability to deliver against budgets and commercial targets
  • Demonstrated capability in leading and developing employees
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong ability in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Strategic outlook balanced with practical operational capability, and effective in fast-paced environments
  • Strong commitment to employee wellbeing and safety
  • Qualifications or experience relevant to the industry
  • Prepared to relocate to New Zealand
  • Sponsorship is on offer for suitably qualified overseas candidates
