Build your career in the resource and energy sectors with a leading engineering and maintenance contractor in Western Australia, which is seeking experienced Boilermakers and Pipefitters.

Across workshop and site-based projects, you will contribute to structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) fabrication, maintenance and shutdown activities. The role combines varied work and competitive above-award pay with excellent team support, ongoing career development and exposure to diverse industrial projects. Skilled tradespeople from India and other countries with relevant industrial experience are encouraged to review the requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver structural steel fabrication and installation
Fabricate, assemble and install industrial piping systems
Execute welding in line with approved procedures and industry standards
Maintain and repair pressure vessels, tanks and structural components
Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans accurately
Contribute to workshop fabrication, on-site installation, and shutdown and maintenance projects
Conduct quality inspections of fabricated components
Operate fabrication equipment and power tools in a safe manner
Perform work in confined spaces and at heights as required
Uphold workplace health and safety procedures at all times while maintaining a clean, organised work area
Collaborate closely with supervisors and project teams
Prepare project documentation and reporting as required

Requirements & Eligibility

An Australian trade qualification in Boilermaking or Pipefitting, or its recognised overseas equivalent
Demonstrated capability across structural, mechanical and piping fabrication
Capacity to pass 3G or 4G welding tests in MMAW and FCAW
Track record on industrial or mining projects
Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications, both current
High Risk Work Licence carrying an EWP endorsement
Construction White Card
Thorough knowledge of workplace health and safety practice
Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings, combined with excellent teamwork and communication
Capacity to clear a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
