Day-to-day work spans precision cutting, modern fades, beard grooming and client consultation, with consistency being key to repeat business.

The role offers room to establish yourself within a professional barbershop and further develop your skills. Sponsorship may be available for an eligible candidate, subject to Australian visa and sponsorship requirements, supporting a longer-term career path for barbers from India and elsewhere.

Key Responsibilities

Stay current with men's grooming trends and evolving barbering techniques
Offer male clients professional haircutting and grooming services
Produce precision haircut styles, fades and skin fades
Apply accurate cutting, blending and finishing techniques
Handle beard shaping, trimming and grooming services
Consult on client preferences and propose appropriate styles
Ensure consistent quality across every barbering service
Create a welcoming, professional experience for each client and foster trust and positive relationships with regular customers
Look after the preparation and upkeep of barbering tools and equipment
Keep a clean, hygienic and organised workstation in line with relevant workplace hygiene and safety practices
Maintain efficiency and attention to detail in busy periods
Contribute to a positive, professional team environment

Requirements & Eligibility

Track record of professional employment as a Barber
Demonstrated men's haircutting and styling ability, with strong skills in fades, skin fades and blending techniques
Experience in beard trimming and grooming services
A relevant barbering qualification and/or demonstrated industry experience
Capacity to provide evidence of prior barbering employment or experience
Strong interpersonal skills and effective client communication
A customer-focused approach and professional conduct
Reliable, punctual and committed to high-quality outcomes
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Professional personal presentation
Willingness to commit to a full-time position, with employer sponsorship possibly considered for suitable candidates who meet the required experience, qualifications and applicable Australian visa and sponsorship criteria
