Key Responsibilities

Build lasting client relationships through outstanding customer service
Execute precise haircuts, styling and finishing using scissors, clippers and razors
Create a range of contemporary and classic men's hairstyles
Specialise in skin fades, beard trims, moustache grooming and traditional shaving
Consult with clients on hairstyles, grooming and suitable hair care products
Undertake colouring, bleaching, perming and other chemical hair treatments as required
Shampoo and condition the hair and scalp as part of each service
Uphold salon hygiene standards by keeping the space clean and organised and sanitising tools and equipment
Assist with scheduling appointments and processing customer payments when required

Requirements & Eligibility

Minimum three years of professional experience as a Barber or Hairdresser within a busy salon or barbershop environment
Technical proficiency across men's haircutting and grooming: strong scissor, clipper and skin fade work, beard styling, moustache grooming and traditional shaving services
Colouring, bleaching, perming and other chemical treatment experience will be highly regarded
Excellent communication and client service skills combined with a professional, friendly, team-oriented outlook
Ability to include weekends in a full-time roster
