A baking career grows when proven skills meet the right production environment. An established South Australian food business is looking for a qualified Baker whose commercial bakery capability, production background and record of reliable output can be clearly evidenced, so that experience means more than a line on a CV.

You would be part of a structured, professional operation, using modern equipment and collaborating with experienced colleagues on a variety of breads and sweet goods.

Skilled bakers from India and other countries can use it to apply their hands-on expertise in a commercial setting.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with fellow bakery staff to achieve production targets
Manufacture bread lines and sweet yeast goods at a commercial standard
Scale, combine and prepare ingredients with precision
Adhere to set formulations, baking techniques and production protocols
Run industrial-scale ovens and commercial bakery machinery in a safe manner
Oversee each bake to ensure product quality remains uniform
Complete the day's prep, baking and packing schedule as production demands
Sustain consistent production standards through busy, time-critical periods
Comply with hygiene, food safety and workplace safety protocols while keeping the bakery workspace clean, orderly and efficient
Manage raw materials and finished stock safely, including loads of up to 25kg
Contribute to smooth day-to-day bakery operations through reliable, organised work

Requirements & Eligibility

A demonstrated track record in commercial baking
Certificate III in Baking preferred
Hands-on exposure to commercial bakery or food production operations
Working familiarity with industrial ovens and commercial-grade bakery equipment
Demonstrable command of baking methods, recipes and production workflows
Sound grasp of hygiene and food safety obligations
Capacity to deliver products of uniform consistency and quality
Availability for early-morning shifts starting from approximately 2:00am
Good stamina and the physical capability to lift up to 25kg
A current, valid driver's licence together with reliable transport
Strong professional work ethic with a dependable attendance record
Ability to collaborate within a professional bakery team
Either valid Australian work rights or eligibility for an appropriate visa
Documentation supporting your qualifications and relevant work experience, available on request
Openness to working in South Australia
