For a baker focused on long-term growth, this role offers a clear learning environment. A well-known bakery in Western Australia's South West is hiring a Baker who will work alongside its Bread Team Leader and Production Manager, gaining exposure to sourdough, laminated dough and high-volume bread production.
The bakery describes the position as a chance to further your knowledge and your career in baking. Production runs from 2am to 12pm across 4 days, Monday to Thursday, giving a 38 hour week with overtime added if needed and weekends off. Sponsorship is available for the right person.

Key Responsibilities
- Mixing white doughs
- Shaping sourdough
- Baking sourdough on a three level bread oven
- Rolling puff pastry
- Stock control
- Understanding sourdough fermentation and applying it in production
- Bringing the same knowledge to croissant dough fermentation
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated passion for creating quality cabinet products
- Teamwork experience
- Experience covering preparation, service and kitchen management
- Prior experience in volume bakery environments and with a commercial bread oven
- Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or an equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication and a positive, energetic, adaptable attitude
- HACCP experience is desirable; food hygiene carries high emphasis
- Ability to work very early starts
