Experienced technicians who have developed advanced skills with European vehicle manufacturers can take their careers into specialist 4x4 work with this Queensland workshop. The business is seeking a qualified Automotive Technician / Mechanic with genuine hands-on experience, strong diagnostic skills and a European vehicle background, and Land Rover experience is beneficial.
You will be trusted to diagnose faults, complete repairs and contribute to specialised vehicle projects within a professional workshop environment. Candidates should be able to demonstrate their trade qualifications, employment history and practical automotive capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to performance upgrades, vehicle modifications, custom builds and specialist projects
- Diagnose mechanical and technical faults across a range of 4x4 vehicles
- Analyse complex vehicle faults and determine appropriate repair methods
- Deliver servicing and preventative maintenance
- Execute mechanical repairs that meet a high professional standard
- Work with specialist vehicle systems on European 4x4 vehicles
- Make effective use of workshop tools and vehicle diagnostic equipment
- Inspect finished work to uphold safety and quality standards
- Collaborate efficiently with other technicians to meet workshop requirements
- Maintain an organised, professional work environment
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated background as an Automotive Technician or Motor Mechanic, holding a relevant automotive trade qualification
- Strong practical 4x4 experience together with proven experience across European vehicle brands
- Land Rover experience would be advantageous
- Holding Advanced or Master Technician experience with a recognised vehicle manufacturer is highly regarded
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
- Genuine employment history and technical experience that you can demonstrate
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship, combined with reliability and effective teamwork
- Valid driver's licence
- Sponsorship available for experienced technicians bringing suitable European vehicle experience
