Key Responsibilities

Communicate with customers clearly, explaining vehicle issues and the repairs required
Conduct vehicle inspections to determine maintenance needs
Diagnose general mechanical faults and complete the necessary repairs
Deliver vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance
Carry out brake inspections
Repair and replace brake components as required
Undertake suspension repairs and upgrades
Make effective use of suitable tools and diagnostic equipment
Achieve a high standard of workmanship on every repair
Uphold accurate, professional work practices at all times
Observe workshop safety and operational procedures
Work efficiently as an individual and as part of the broader workshop team

Requirements & Eligibility

Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant motor mechanic role
Automotive employment history that is demonstrable and verifiable, with willingness to supply supporting evidence of qualifications and experience
Relevant automotive trade qualification preferred
Well-developed hands-on skills in mechanical servicing and repair
Holder of a valid driver's licence
Professional communication skills when dealing with customers
A reliable, punctual and motivated work ethic
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
