Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electrical issues on heavy mobile plant, tracing complex electrical and electronic faults to their source
Deliver planned servicing and preventative maintenance, including upkeep and repair of vehicle air conditioning units
Evaluate how equipment is performing and advise on technical improvements
Reduce machine downtime by applying strong troubleshooting
Work to Australian workplace safety standards on every maintenance task, logging service documentation and repair history accurately
Represent the business with dependable, professional support out in the field
Partner with colleagues to raise service quality and operational efficiency

Requirements & Eligibility

Qualified Auto Electrician holding recognised trade certification
Demonstrated hands-on work across mobile plant, mining equipment or heavy vehicles
Strong background in diagnostics and electrical fault finding, with the capacity to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical information
Prior exposure to air conditioning systems preferred
Current driver's licence, and the capacity to satisfy required site medical and workplace requirements
Good English communication skills for safety and reporting on the job
Able to operate independently while contributing effectively as part of a team, committed to safe work practices and high-quality workmanship
