This position offers an architecture professional the chance to sharpen their technical delivery skills on major industrial developments. An established practice working on such projects across Australia is recruiting a Graduate Architect for its team in Crows Nest, Sydney.
Technical depth is the priority: strong Revit capability, precise construction documentation, consultant coordination and an understanding of how design intent becomes a practical construction outcome. Working alongside experienced Project Leaders and technical professionals on substantial industrial projects, you will keep building the expertise that drives career progression.
Candidates, including those from India and other countries, should be able to evidence genuine project experience through previous work and technical capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret architectural requirements and convert them into practical documentation
- Develop and maintain detailed Revit models across a portfolio of industrial projects
- Prepare coordinated construction documentation spanning design through to project delivery
- Coordinate consultant models and detect potential clashes ahead of construction
- Assist in resolving technical coordination and documentation issues
- Review shop drawings and contribute to the technical review process
- Apply NCC requirements and relevant Australian Standards to all documentation
- Support site inspections and provide construction-phase project assistance
- Partner with Project Leaders, consultants and fellow technical professionals
- Uphold consistency, accuracy and quality across documentation packages, and propose improvements to Revit standards and internal documentation workflows
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience in preparing construction documentation for architectural projects
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated Revit documentation experience
- Strong practical command of Revit modelling, detailing and documentation
- Demonstrated understanding of buildability and technical coordination
- Working knowledge of the NCC and Australian Standards
- Capacity to coordinate information across multiple consultants and disciplines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, combined with clear communication and effective teamwork
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology or a related field
- Relevant equivalent industry experience may also be considered
- Capacity to demonstrate genuine project experience and technical capability
- A professional, accountable approach to delivering projects
