A growing aviation maintenance operation in Queensland services a diverse range of aircraft and airline customers across Australia and the Pacific, and is recruiting experienced LAMEs with B1.1/B2 licences alongside qualified AMEs with strong practical maintenance experience.
Engineers will apply their expertise in a professional Australian aviation environment, broaden their aircraft exposure and progress through ongoing training and approvals. Experienced professionals from India and other countries are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct line and heavy aircraft maintenance across regional turboprop and jet aircraft, including scheduled and unscheduled inspections
- Diagnose and rectify defects and troubleshoot aircraft components and systems
- Carry out servicing, inspections and component replacement
- Support aircraft turnarounds and line maintenance activities
- Complete maintenance documentation and technical records
- Ensure all maintenance follows approved procedures within CASA requirements and applicable aviation standards
- Identify and report technical issues, collaborating closely with other engineers and maintenance personnel
- Participate in aircraft type training and additional approval programs to broaden your capabilities
Requirements & Eligibility
- For LAMEs (B1.1 / B2): a current CASA B1.1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence, with Q400 experience essential
- For LAMEs: experience on the Dash 8 Classic 100/200/300 highly regarded
- For LAMEs: B737 NG or MAX experience advantageous; narrow-body or wide-body aircraft experience beneficial
- For LAMEs: a strong practical background in aircraft maintenance
- For LAMEs: sound knowledge of maintenance procedures and aviation safety
- For AMEs: minimum 5 years' aviation industry experience and relevant aircraft maintenance qualifications
- For AMEs: practical line maintenance experience preferred
- For AMEs: heavy maintenance experience considered; turboprop experience advantageous
- For AMEs: strong defect rectification and troubleshooting skills
- For AMEs: the ability to work efficiently and safely in a demanding maintenance environment
