An established commercial services organisation seeks HVAC and Refrigeration professionals with genuine trade capability and a strong record of practical work. The role offers exposure to a broad portfolio of systems and projects: commercial air conditioning, refrigeration, coolrooms, freezer rooms, ventilation, chilled water systems and commercial catering equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain service records and job documentation, referencing technical documents, drawings and equipment specifications throughout each job
Install, service and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems along with associated commercial refrigeration equipment
Troubleshoot refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and isolate mechanical, electrical or refrigeration faults
Undertake preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
Install and maintain coolrooms and freezer rooms, and assist with installing, servicing and maintaining chilled water systems
Deliver commercial and industrial ventilation system installation and maintenance, including kitchen exhaust and specialist ventilation work
Perform servicing on commercial kitchen and catering equipment
Carry out system testing, commissioning and performance checks
Collaborate effectively with fellow technicians and project teams
Uphold professional standards on commercial and industrial sites in compliance with Australian workplace health and safety procedures
Advance technical knowledge through ongoing hands-on experience and training

Requirements & Eligibility

Relevant qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, HVAC, Electrical or a related trade, plus evidence of qualifications, trade experience and technical skills
Demonstrated hands-on experience across commercial or industrial environments, supported by a genuine, verifiable employment history relevant to the position
Strong understanding of HVAC, refrigeration or associated mechanical systems, with practical fault-finding and diagnostic capability
Ability to operate independently and as part of a professional technical team
Strong dedication to quality workmanship and safety in the workplace
Good communication and problem-solving capabilities
Openness to learning Australian workplace practices and to ongoing professional development
Candidates with transferable skills from mechanical, maintenance, construction or manufacturing backgrounds may also be considered
Ability to successfully complete the relevant skills and employment verification process, and to meet applicable Australian employment and visa requirements
