Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end accounting and tax work across a portfolio of SME clients
Cultivate long-term client relationships and communicate directly with clients on accounting, taxation and business matters
Produce tax returns and financial statements with accuracy and efficiency
Apply practical expertise in Division 7A requirements, and manage Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) matters
Advise clients on accounting and business advisory requirements and contribute to advisory projects and value-added services
Maintain a high professional and compliance standard while collaborating with colleagues for consistent client outcomes
Strengthen technical and leadership capabilities in preparation for a Manager role

Requirements & Eligibility

CA or CPA qualified, or currently nearing completion of the qualification
Australian Public Practice experience of at least 4 years
Strong practical grounding in Australian tax compliance
Demonstrated experience with SME clients and proven ability to manage those client relationships independently
Hands-on technical knowledge of Division 7A, CGT and FBT
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong professional presentation and interpersonal skills
A high level of attention to detail
A dependable work ethic and professional attitude
Demonstrated willingness to learn and step up to greater responsibility
Capacity to work effectively within a collaborative accounting environment
